University process

Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards, UW–Madison

  • The day after the incident, UW–Madison said its Office of Student Conduct would investigate implicated students.
  • The conduct process is separate from the criminal case. It is the university's own determination about a student's standing, and its timeline is set by the university.
  • No outcome has been announced. Unknown if the alleged fraternity brothers were suspended.
